Policy

Terms

This page describes our intended approach and is being finalised ahead of launch.

The programme

SisuBloom is an online reading, writing and thinking academy for children aged 7–15, delivered live in small groups. These terms apply to the complete 12-month programme, standalone SisuReads, and the refundable taster, as described on our Pricing page.

Eligibility and age bands

SisuBloom is designed for children aged 7–15, grouped as Seedlings (7–9), Saplings (10–12) and Oaks (13–15). A parent or caregiver must register and pay on behalf of their child.

Enrolment

Enrolment is completed through our registration form and, where payment is required, a secure Stripe checkout. Enrolment is confirmed once payment has been received.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. SisuBloom does not directly handle or store card details.

Monthly membership: complete programme

The Complete Programme is a 12-month curriculum journey, billed at £150 per month as a rolling monthly subscription. There is no minimum contractual term. Membership and bundled SisuReads access begin as soon as your payment is verified. You will also receive onboarding and start-date information, and appropriate preparation material may be provided before intake. Live sessions, the structured weekly rhythm and other cohort-dependent elements begin at your child's next available monthly intake.

Standalone SisuReads

SisuReads may also be joined as a standalone weekday reading membership, billed at £49 per month as a recurring monthly payment. Access begins immediately once your payment is verified. For ordinary subscription cancellation, you may cancel at any time before your next billing date; access continues until the end of the current paid billing period, and no further recurring payment is taken. This does not affect any statutory cancellation or other consumer rights you may have. See our Refund Policy for full detail, including how starting SisuReads immediately may affect statutory cancellation rights.

When a parent asks for SisuReads to begin immediately, we collect their explicit agreement during registration. See our Refund Policy for information about statutory cancellation rights.

Refundable taster

The refundable taster costs £75. It is not a deposit and not a subscription. See our Refund Policy for how refunds work.

Attendance

We ask families to help their child attend scheduled sessions consistently, as the weekly rhythm is part of how the programme works.

Parent/caregiver responsibilities

Parents and caregivers are responsible for providing accurate registration information, ensuring their child has a suitable environment and device for live sessions, and raising any concern with us directly.

Child conduct

Children are expected to treat their SisuGuide and fellow students with respect during every session: see also our Safeguarding page.

Online session requirements

Sessions are delivered live online and require a stable internet connection and a suitable device.

Books and materials

Two selected books are part of the complete programme each month.

Intellectual property

SisuBloom's programme materials, branding and website content remain the property of SisuBloom.

Recordings and media

Where any photograph, video or written work is used publicly (for example in the SisuBloom Journal), this only happens with confirmed parental consent: see our Safeguarding page.

Cancellation

Standalone SisuReads: for ordinary subscription cancellation, you may cancel at any time before your next billing date. Access continues until the end of the current paid billing period, and no further recurring payment is taken. Separate statutory cancellation rights may apply in some circumstances; see our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Complete Programme: you may cancel at any time before your next billing date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period, and no further payment is taken after that. There is no routine pro-rata or partial-month refund for ordinary cancellation. Separate statutory cancellation and consumer rights remain unaffected; see our Refund Policy.

Refunds

Refund terms differ by route and are set out in full in our Refund Policy.

Programme changes

We may need to make reasonable changes to programme content, scheduling or SisuGuides from time to time. We'll aim to let families know of any significant change in good time.
